to 1/50 H.P.) EM&S’s 4 pole, permanent split capacitor unit bearing fan motors used approximately half of the energy of its shaded pole equi- valent. Because of its increased efficiency and patented electrical design, this motor also runs quieter because it suppresses the 120-cycle vibration inherent in shaded pole motor designs. It utilizes the same cast-iron bearing and hardened steel shaft design for long life and dependability. These motors are directly interchangeable with the shaded pole units, as the capacitors are mounted internally. |
